I don't want a generic bookkeeper. I want someone who's worked inside affiliate — at a network, an agency, or a media buying shop — and already knows how this world's money flows. You know what a scrub is. You know why redtrack-reported revenue never matches network-reported revenue... which never matches what hits the bank. You know how to chase an affiliate manager for a missing $120K payout without burning the relationship and so on. And you have a sound understanding of AI and vibe coding, and Meta and other marketing APIs so you can create dashboards and tools to help with tracking and reporting of finances. Strong accounting fundamentals — degree, CPA, or equivalent experience 3+ years doing real reconciliation work, not just data entry Excellent written and spoken English Interest in AI and vibe coding financial and marketing tools and dashboards Comfortable in spreadsheets at a high level (pivot tables, lookups, basic automation). SQL or Python a plus but not required Comfortable vibe coding with Claude and using AI agents to move faster — we expect our finance person to be building small tools, scripts, and dashboards with AI, not waiting on a developer Proactive — you find problems and fix them without being asked Honest and detail-obsessed
