5+ years of dedicated data engineering experience, demonstrating senior-level autonomy and technical ownership C1 English level or higher, with excellent verbal and written communication skills Expert-level Python programming and advanced SQL query optimization skills Hands-on experience with streaming systems such as Kafka, AWS MSK, or AWS Kinesis Proven track record of pipeline development using Apache Spark or native Python frameworks Technical experience managing Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake table formats on AWS S3 Direct experience productionalizing workflows with Apache Airflow, Dagster, or AWS Step Functions Deep familiarity with AWS data services including S3, AWS Glue, Athena, and EMR Specialized experience in time-series, IoT, SCADA, or industrial sensor data modeling techniques Background in building data quality assurance, schema validation, and monitoring systems Ability to maintain core working hours aligned with the US Central Time (CT) zone Skills Python SQL Apache Spark Kafka AWS MSK AWS Kinesis Apache Iceberg Delta Lake AWS S3 Apache Airflow Dagster AWS Step Functions AWS Glue Athena EMR IoT Data Modeling Time-series Data
